Welcome to Ragan Quarter Horses

"Flames of Tradition" is our Paint stallion and this is his first breeding season.  "Imp" is the only colt we got from his sire "A Blazing Tradition", APHA Sorrel/Overo stallion and his dam is our great mare "Pretty Lacy Pine" (Pretty Prestige x Nuggets Pine).  He earned his nickname because he was such an independent colt that it was impossible to keep up with him, therefore "Imp" for "Impossible" came about.  He has grown into quite a handsome colt with those Noble Tradition/Coosa good looks and he is really getting big now.  This is one colt that we think has a great future in the show ring and as a sire.                                 

We are only standing Imp to a few mares this season so book to him early.  Ask about Special Incentives for Superior Halter/Pleasure mares and World Champions for the 2008 Season.  Also, if your mare produces a futurity, World Champion, or Congress Winner you may bring that mare back the following year and receive a FREE breeding to Imp, even if it is 5 years later!!!!  Be one of the first to "Put A Little Flame" in your barn!!!      

UPDATE---Imp has decided he would like to be as tall as a draft horse with all the pretty of a Paint horse, he is now 15.3 hands (22 months old) and still growing!!! We can't keep enough feed in front of him to last more than a couple of hours, but after all he is a growing boy!!!
